P.E. - Introduction to Gas Metal Arc Welding.

This course covers the basic theories Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) for those engineers who are seeking to expand their knowledge of welding processes. Gas metal arc welding (GMAW), sometimes referred to by its sub-types as metal inert gas (MIG) welding or metal active gas (MAG) welding, is an electric arc welding process where the heat for welding is produced by an arc between a continuously fed, consumable filler metal electrode and the work. The shielding of the molten weld pool and the arc is obtained from an externally supplied gas or gas mixture.

After completion of P..E. - Intro to GMAW the student should have a greater understanding of the GMAW process.
