This is a short course that will review components commonly used in power generation and other industrial applications such as air compressors (reciprocating, rotary, centrifugal, compressor coolers, and hazards), hydraulics (pressure, force, operation and hazards), boilers (fuel boiler components), cooling towers (induced draft, forced draft, and natural convection cooling), de-mineralizers (purpose, single/mixed bed, and regeneration) and pressurizers (description, dynamic, construction and operation).
